VINTAGE BASEBALL SERIES

This project began as an assignment for ESPN magazine, later winning a Communcation Arts Photo Annual award. 

Despite not being an avid baseball fan, I was immediately hooked on the scope, variety and history of the subjects in front of me. Each are the definition of Americana. 

I used a similar technique to The Fin Project which, through the use of dramatic lighting and centered compositions, encourages the viewer to compare and contrast each artifact to its neigbors.
