THE CHALLENGE:

HONORING THE ICONIC MIX OF ABSOLUT & OCEAN SPRAY CRANBERRY

Deliverables included 3x 6-second and 1x 15-second videos, showcasing the dynamic interaction
of crystal clear ABSOLUT and vibrant Ocean Spray cranberry juice.

Tim's expertise as a technically-minded commercial director ensured that each shot was crafted to perfection,
with a focus on fluid dynamics and highliting the vibrant contrast between the vodka and cranberry.

The team utilized high-speed cameras and motion control robots to capture mesmerizing pour shots,
the elegant swirl of the drink in slow motion, and the iconic Ocean Spray Wave.

This approach created a luxurious and immersive feel, aligning with the campaign's "Born to Mix" messaging.

BUILDING THE ABSOLUT PORTAL

The shoot required 3 weeks of detailed planning, testing and special effects prep work.

Tim and his special effects wizard Jeremy McCarter designed multiple custom rigs,
including the first practical example of the Absolut "Portal" with LED's synchronized to the camera's movement.
